One of the things that bothers me the most is the treat we have with immigrants, who come to our country looking for better opportunities. A few weeks ago I read in the news the story of an haitian worker who was stabbed in the leg, while all his coworkers were watching with indiference. Even the man who stabbed him justified himself under the pretext that immigrants are here to steal the job from us, which is completely false. Immigrants do the jobs that have low demand in Chile, like construction or cleaning. In fact, a lot of them have studies in different areas, but the chilean State don't recognize it, so they cannot work in their speciallities. It's important to change the vision that our country have about the immigrants, it's necessary to be empathic and think about a situation that all of us can be expose sometime. I think I never had a blog before, the closest thing was fotolog (which I’m embarassed of) or maybe tumblr   (I didn’t use it much). So the blog experience is all new for me; I never really thought that I’ll have a blog, and also that it would be in english, so I’m impressed of myself. I’m impressed because I was a little scared at the beggining. I’ve always thought that I’m not really good at english, so writing this much sounded like a big challenge to me, but actually it hasn’t been that terrible. I think I’ve improved mi writing skills a lot through this. I’m not sure of what I would like to include in the future, maybe more stuff related with cinema or some funny things like gifs, pictures, memes, I don’t know. And about the writing, I think I enjoy most writing about light themes like hobbies or anecdotes; so I would like to make more posts about those kind of things in a future blog (maybe english four blog) rather than university releated posts (like talking abou...

  This semester was very different from the pasts, because it was all about TV. I learned a lot of new things, but I have to say that the subject that I enjoyed more was post – production. In this class we learned how to use After Effects, which is a software that allowds us to make animations and post proudction effects. I think it’s really usefull, because you can use it to make movie titles, openings, corporative videos, etc. And you can also use it to make more fun stuff like videoclips, little animations, experimental videos, etc. Actually now I’m making the last homework, it’s an opening for the sitcom that we record on TV class; it’s turning out pretty cool so I’m really happy.   So basically I found this subject interesting, usefull and I think the teacher is funny, he talks a lot, makes weird voices, tell us his secrets and he even makes jokes.
